Saltire Sustainability was founded in 2022 and built on decades of experience in planning and implementing Sustainability, ESG and Safety in their broadest senses. Meet our Founder

Sustainability has been at the heart of Dr. Derek McGlashan's career since the start. Initially a Coastal Geomorphologist, Derek moved into industry and built an Environment and Sustainability function from scratch. He has been involved in Infrastructure (especially Ports, Private Energy Networks, Renewables, Data Centres and Property, Waste and Recycling, Metals, Transport and Logistics, Water, Operations and Consenting). In addition to this he has led Sustainability, Safety, ESG and Investigations into unintended events in organisations of various sizes and ownership models.
